Fairfax anger management teacher jailed in threats case
A Fairfax man who teaches anger management was arrested on suspicion of threatening to kill his business partners, police said.Peter Vandyk, 58, was booked into Marin County Jail on Friday on suspicion of making threats against two fellow teachers in a dispute over classes and pay. Bail was set at $200,000.
Twin Cities police Officer Patrick Torres said Vandyk’s partners reported receiving threatening phone messages on Thursday. Torres contacted Fairfax police, who took Vandyk to the mental health unit at Marin General Hospital after his housemates reported he was suicidal.
Twin Cities police took him to jail after his release from the hospital.
